How can I help?
We're glad you asked. These days 10 dollars can go a long way. I know because for most of us $10 bucks is a couple trips to Mcdonalds, Starbucks and of course Wal-mart. Now imagine if you were to reallocate this money to a life redeeming purpose. Read on to find out how you can and why you should.

Isaiah 58:6-8 states:
6 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?(B)

7 Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house--when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?

8 Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

I believe the passage above makes it as clear as the sweet blue sky when it says, “Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house--when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood? This verse literally shakes the depth of my heart. I pity any man who never knows the sweetness of being used by the Lord to help another in need. Christ died on the cross for yours sins and mine. He purchased us with his blood. We are no longer living to manifest our own will, but His. We can no longer sit back on our comfortable church pews while lives are being lost and people are going to bed cold and hungry. Ask yourself, ”If you don't do something, who will!” We are to take the word we receive on Sunday, and hit the streets on Monday with a life changing message. Perhaps you have the desire to bring the truth of salvation to the inner cities and foreign lands, but don't know how. You can do so by sowing into the LL ministry. Our compassion lies with those in the streets and anyone else who is in need of the life changing power of Christ.
